Since I live off the grid but work and spend a lot of time in town, I carry at least 2 of my cookers with me in my truck everywhere I go. Including to Church on Sunday!
This last Sunday was a holiday weekend and it had been a little cooler than usual so I had a nice and mouth watering White Chicken Chili in the hot pot simmering away in the back of my truck. I took a tiny break to check on it and toss a loaf of home made multi-grain bread in the Global Sun Oven (GSO) that had raised perfectly in the proofer (truck front seat with all windows rolled up to capture heat!)
Just in the middle of the Sunday School lesson, a friend peeked in the door of the class and motioned to me to meet him out in the hallway. Thinking something was wrong, I hurried out and he said "you left your oven on!!!!" And then he laughed and laughed and finally said, the bread looks about done. Can I have a taste?
Well, The lesson I am learning is that 1 loaf of bread won't cover it anymore. I gotta go to church prepared to bake a whole batch. Too bad I'm not the miracle worker that Jesus was. It would be less work if that one loaf could stretch to feed 500!

This is a good one Joyce,
Could it be that the "Son" got his power to "bake" 500 Loaves from above?
