I Can Only Compare The Sol Source Parabolic To The High Quality And Ease Of Driving A Cadillac Instead Of A Volkswagen (and I Like Volkswagens But The One Cadillac I Ever Rode in Was A Whole other Driving Experience!)
I Am Duly Impressed By The High Quality Materials That One Earth Design Used In Constructing This Great Cooker, Making The Higher Cost Well Worth it. But my Favorite Thing About It Is The Design.
I Absolutely Love That The Frame Goes Together Or Comes Apart Literally In 3 minutes Because When I Set Up For A Demo, It's Less Stressful Being Able To Get The Cookers Set Up Fast And cooking Immediately.
I Love How Solid The Pot Holder Is And That The Whole Frame Gives But Stays Solid In A Wind. (Haven't Lost A Pot Off Of There Yet!) But Of Course A 25 Mile Per Hour Wind Might Be A Little Scary!
I Also Love The Ease And Dependability Of The Gear And Brake System Making Adjustments To The Focal Point Very Smooth And Easy.
The Only Thing I Had To Get Used To Differently On It Was The Slightly Slower Cook Time Compared To My Solar Burner. The Sol Source Is A Little Smaller So Power Isn't Quite As High but On The Bright Side, I Don't burn Pancakes And Grilled Cheese As Often.
I Still Prefer My Solar Burner When Deep Frying Donuts And Scones However Because The Oil Heats Up So Much Faster!
I Expect A Lifetime Of Use From My Sol Source And Couldn't Be Happier With It!
