(UT)
1 loaf of French Bread (cut off ends so it fits in med. Oval Roaster)
3 Tbsp. Butter melted
1/2 med onion diced
1 sm pkg sliced pepperoni (dice slices)
1 tsp pizza seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
2 Tbsp canola or Olive oil
Optional other pizza toppings such as diced green pepper, diced mushrooms, sliced olives, diced bacon, etc
Mozzarella or provolone cheese grated or sliced
Cut off ends of french bread to fit in roaster pan. (I line my pan with foil to cut down on messes).
While Oven preheats to 350 (works fine at lower temps also. Just takes longer!) Slice bread in 1 In. Slices but don't cut clear through. Then cut in 1 in slices the other way again with out cutting clear through to the bottom.
Separate the slices slightly and drizzle the butter in the crevices. Sprinkle pizza seasoning into crevices then stuff pepperoni and onion and cheese into crevices . Also any optional toppings. Then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Mix garlic powder with oil and pour over top of all.
Place lid on roaster and bake 20-30 min. Remove lid and bake 10-15 min more.
This is sooooo good. Pull off bread sections and dip in marinara or spaghetti sauce. Wrap up leftovers to reheat again. yummy!
