Poolside Solar Cooking
I traveled to Las Vegas this week intending to stay only 1 full day and 2 nights to play with 3 of my grandsons who live here.
I had to travel down here on the St. George shuttle so I was limited to a carry on bag and a check in bag . I brought a change of clothes and necessities as well as a dark color bread pan in my carry on bag and a hot pot cooker for my check in bag. No way was I going to Vegas without a solar cooker!
We cooked beans and ham that 1st day and they were so yummy! My 13 year old grandson is so excited to solar cook, he pretty much took over the hot pot. And since I missed my shuttle ride back home and had to reschedule much later in the day, we decided to swim at my daughters sis in laws house and have a solar cooked lunch.
We set out a cheesy potato casserole about 9:30 and let it cook at poolside till lunch. It made the yard smell so good and tasted divine! Grandson Dylan and his cousin Levi ate theirs without leaving the pool. Its tempting to get stuck down here longer but gotta get back to work.

Way to take advantage of your cooking time and efforts by solar cooking by the pool...even on vacation!
