Will a solar oven work on a screened patio enclosure even when placed so that it tracks direct rays of the sun? How much does the screening affect the performance of the oven?

Thank you Betty for your Question, it's a good one.
I myself have never solar cooked inside of a screened enclosure, but I have to a degree behind a non-UV inhibited glass.
I would say that it might depend on the screen enclosure how effective your solar cooking would be.
Some screens like those on tents or awnings would probably allow quite a bit of the UV rays through, and other screens like the thick dark ones used on many modern home windows probably let very little UV rays through.
Your constant tracking will definitely help the process though.
You would probably be best to try it out and see how well you do.
...and then let us know if you wouldn't mind.
Thank you again,
Nathan
