How does the box solar cooker work ?

Thank you for your question about solar box cookers.
There are three basic elements to making a box cooker work or function properly.
First, you need a box for the oven interior that is well insulated so you do not lose heat.
And the box needs to have a lid to hold the heat in.
Second, you need to have a dark painted interior for your oven as well as dark pots or pans, all of these items, because they are dark, absorb the energy of the sun which makes them hot.
Third, you need shiny reflector panels to concentrate the suns rays into the oven interior and onto the dark pots/pans.
