Here Comes The Sun Na Na Na Na. . . .

That's right! Rockin' with the Beatles in my head this morning when I walked out the door to go to work and realized it was gonna be the 1st really good solar cooking day for more than a solid week!

So I walked right back in the house, grabbed my cooler and packed it with Chicken thighs, mushrooms, leftover spaghetti sauce, Parmesan cheese,and the appropriate spices and herbs for the very yummy Chicken Cacciatore we will be eating over whole grain linguine tonight!
After I got settled in at work, I took a quick 6 minutes to layer everything in my Hot Pot out on the sidewalk. I added about a half a can of chicken broth and boy does it smell good out there as it bubbles away!
I watched through the window as 2 boys on bikes came down the sidewalk and stopped to try to figure out what that great smell was!
It will be wonderful to have a real meal again after this Monsoon weather has forced us to eat sandwiches or quickly nuked stuff in the microwave all week!

Yes, a break in the cloudy weather means back to business...solar cooking blues were ringing in my ears for several days as well.
