Cleaning large parabolic cooker reflective vinyl.

by Ralph
(Leeds, UT)

Some liquid has bubbled out of the pot and spilled on the reflective vinyl surface of the collector. What is the best way to clean the surface without damaging it?
I just purchased it today and it is doing a great job.

Boy that was quick, you assembled and started using your Solar Burner Parabolic the very same day you purchased it...that's great!

Whenever I spill or splatter anything (including grease) on my Solar Burner, as soon as I am finished cooking I set a pot on the cooker, with some water and couple of squirts of dish detergent, to heat up. And then using tongs to hold a rag I use the hot, soapy dishwater to quickly wipe over the surface of the parabolic cooker to clean it up, and then I rinse it with some clean water, and then dry the surface with a soft rag to remove water spots.
This whole process takes me about two minutes to clean up the parabolic.

...Easier than cleaning my BBQ grill.
